Wonderer is Back
It’s still compact, but more spacious and deceptively comfortable.
We are pleased to announce that SimWorks’ standard style drop bar “Wonderer Bar” has been updated to modern specifications and is back with a bang.

The reach and drop are shallower, and the grip is longer.
SInce 2015, the Wonderer Bar, the only short reach style drop bar in the SimWorks drop bar series, which carried this slogan and captured holeshots, has been updated with a small and important update. We’re back online.
Unlike typical flat bars, drop bars have three main grip points: the brake lever, the drop, and the flat. In order to rest your muscles, you can quickly and easily alter your upper body posture depending on your needs and fatigue.
Large shifts in body positioning can lead to unsteadiness and overload on the body, but by making the cockpit more compact, changes in body position can be achieved more easily, even in conditions that change quickly or subtly- such as on gravel. Wonderer was designed with this ease of transition to your hand position to result in confidence and comfort in riding your bike in a wide range of conditions- while affording s distinct, and comfortable ride.
The 78mm reach and 128mm drop shortens the distance to the brake lever and the drops when braking hard, so it is still a drop bar that is easy for smaller riders to handle. It’s a carefully calculated number to create a distinct comfort that has certain anatomical benefits.
Two newly added sizes: 470mm and 490mm width.
The newsly added 470mm & 490mm widths offer wider options than the previous lineup. The combination of the wide bracket and short reach makes it easier to match with a wider variety of bikes.
In addition, like the Wild Honey Bar that was updated in early fall, we have responded to the modern addition of various electronic accessories affixed to the handlebar near your stem and widened the clamp area to offer real estate for cycling computers, lights etc…
The components that make up the bike, including the seat post and stem, are woven together with the Wonderer Bar, which has a precise width and has been carefully selected by experienced professional mechanics, frame builders, and riders who enjoy cycling wherever their heart takes them. With one, when you step on the pedals and come back to your senses, you’ll notice how light the positioning is, and how easy it is to move your hands around the cockpit area. Isn’t it a wonder how natural it feels?
