Volummy Tire: Less mass for more fun?

Simworks is putting our Volummy lineup of tires on a diet.
After a lot of constructive feedback and input from riders, dealers, and customers alike, and through our efforts to dial in our product line with Panaracer, we’re excited to announce that Volummy going forward is shedding a considerable number of grams across the lineup- with the intent of providing a lighter weight, more efficient and more supple tire option for road and gravel riders alike. With more riders going tubeless with their wheel systems, the decision to ratchet back the thickness of the sidewall was arrived at confidently, as riders are less concerned with pinch and puncture flats.

It’s been four years since Volummy was released, and we’re trying to evolve with the market, while keeping true to our roots. We’re excited for this new generation of Volummy tire- which we will be adopting in the full range of Simworks size offerings. Additionally, the solid black sidewall will slowly be coming online for the Volummy line as well.

The new lighter weight variety is being initially offered here in the 27.5 x. 1.9 size (650bx48c). Weight has been trimmed almost 25% for this model (175 grams). For riders on this 650B platform, look no further for your file-tread gravel tire. Additional sizes will follow in short time.

At this time, we are discounting the remaining stock of our Volummy tire line-up. When they are gone they are gone, and we will no longer be producing the original thicker sidewall variety. For riders looking for the greatest amount of sidewall protection- jump on this remaining stock while they’re still around
