SimWorks x 100 Tacos Collection is Available Now

Let’s rewind to 2019. Back then, while working part-time at the legendary Los Angeles bike shop Golden Saddle Cyclery (GSC), Mick of 100 TACOS was also running his taco catering business on weekends, and that’s when our very first collaboration project between SimWorks and 100 TACOS came to life.

Fast forward six years. Sadly, GSC has since closed its doors, but Mick continues to stay active with 100 TACOS while working at Allez LA, the shop now run by Kyle, who was GSC’s former manager. A lot has changed over the years, but one thing that hasn’t is the bond between Mick and all of us at SimWorks.

“Making and selling things can be an ecological paradox, but I try to do it with as much care for the planet as possible. My rule number one is longevity. I want to create things that get better with age, not things that fall apart quickly.” Mick says.

Mick’s approach to making things is rooted in his belief in producing only small batches, and only once in a while. His philosophy of communication through vegan tacos is something you can read more about in this interview article HERE.
