Sim Loader Restock / New Colors
SimWorks’ cycling bag collection “Sim Loaders” was developed and released last year to coincide with the launch of Doppo Locust. This time, in addition to the continuing colors Cougar and Graph Paper, new colors for 2024 have been added in Redwood and Carbon. In addition, from our previous RAL collection- we’ve carried over the former ‘JS Loader’ model and rebranded as the ‘Konbini’ bag in the SimLoader collection; it’s available in all four current color options. Lastly, we have limited initial availability on a minimalist sling bag we’re calling the Corner Store Musette that’s constructed of the same EcoPak material as the rest of the bags in the collection.
We’ve carried over the customer favorite Cougar and Graph Paper colors from the original SimLoader collection. Joining them are new ‘Redwood’ and ‘Carbon’ options to round out a pleasant range of options for riders looking to piece together a kit of bags. Each color plays well with the others, so mixing and matching between styles is encouraged.

Updated Style joins the Sim Loader Line – Konbini Bag
The Konbini Bag is the resurrection of our limited offering of JS Loaders that were produced under the RAL brand name. The bag is is constructed of the same EcoPak material as the other SimLoader series, with nylon lining and excellent durability and weather resistance. Compared to the Voyageur Handlebar Bag highlighted above, it is more compact and lightweight, and is of course a handlebar cycling bag that is recommended for everyday use as opposed to longer rides. Konbini will encourage you to limit your carried items to some useful essentials.
The bag features a zipper pocket and bungee closure style for easy access while riding. The outer flap on the bag is secured with a bungee cord that wraps a Nitto produced headset cap with SimWorks laser marking. Konbini could also be attached to your saddle using a daisy chain system. The daisy chain can also be used to secure the bag to head tubes and seat posts of various sizes.
The HDPE board inside the bag keeps the bag in shape whether it’s filled to capacity with lightweight winter clothing, everyday items, food, or just the bare necessities like a wallet and handkerchief. The foam liner protects the contents when you’re off-roading.
The bag’s flap has bungee straps that can be hooked onto the top cap to make the top of the bag weatherproof and cover the zippered cargo area.
There is also a thin Velcro-accessed sleeve on the front of the bag that is hidden by a flap to store credit cards, ID, cash, etc. There are plastic D-rings on the side of the bag that allow you to turn the JS Loader into a small carry-around style bag by removing the bag and attaching a shoulder strap (sold separately).
Two VOILE 6″ Nano Straps for handlebar attachment and a Cordlock strap that runs between the bike’s head tube and a daisy chain sewn into the back of the bag allow for quick and easy installation on your bike. If you don’t have space on your handlebars, you can also use the saddle loops to turn it into a saddle bag.

Corner Store Musette
As is so often the case while out enjoying a bike ride, a small errand presents itself and we find ourselves wishing we had a little extra carrying capacity to supplement our on bike luggage. A stop at the market on the way home from a ride that has stretched in to the evening hours. Picking up a magazine, or newspaper while on an urban ride about and wanting a safe place to store a fresh periodical. A bundle of bills or letters you might want to dump at the post office, or toss an iPad and sketchbook over your shoulder for a meeting with a friend at a local coffee shop to share some project ideas. We built the new Corner Store Musette to live in the Sim Loader line because it serves as a great supplement to some primary bike luggage- but shines outside of our bike lives as well. It’s simple, durable, highly weather resistant, compact and easy to include in a larger bag as a walkabout. With enough space for a water bottle, a light layer, a couple magazines, a compact camera, etc… it’s a great bag to grab for a primary walkabout bag or a pouch to pedal across town with. But it’s also a smart bag to just carry around unpacked in a larger bag in the event you find yourself needing a little extra carrying capacity on your bike journey.
Corner store is durably constructed from the same EcoPak material as the other bags within the SimLoader line, has minimal seams to boost it’s weather resistance and to cut down on weight. It has an adjustable shoulder strap that isn’t padded. It’s no frills but gets the job done. We trust you can find countless unique uses for it in your life.
