MADE SHOW ’25: New and Upcoming Product Releases

The MADE Bike Show, a festival of handmade bikes, was held in Portland, Oregon, from August 22nd to 24th.

This year marks the third time the event has been held, and SimWorks’ third time exhibiting.

This annual show serves as SimWorks’ largest showcase.
The innaugural MADE Bike Show began right after the pandemic hit, so as a Japanese component manufacturer, we didn’t have many opportunities to launch new products due to supply issues. However, this was the third time we’ve held the event, and we were able to announce several new products, so we’d like to introduce them to you in the form of components, frame sets, and soft goods.
Components
SimWorks by Nitto “Still Cruisin’ Bar”
After several years of development, we will be launching a new chromoly handlebar in September 2025. We’ve named it the Still Cruisin’ Bar.

SimWorks’ first bull moose style handlebars.

This handlebar shape is adopted from our iconic Getaround Bar.

A marriage of SimWorks ideas and NITTO’s welding technology.

Additional details, including specifications and pricing will be announced at launch. It’s a great idea to subscribe to our newsletter or to follow us on Instagram for this information, as well.
SimWorks by NITTO “Gettin’ Hungry Stem 4Bolt”

Stem’s new release is an updated version of Gettin’ Hungry Stem.
The handlebar fixing strength has been improved with an open clamp and 4 bolts.

With the recent trend of gravel bikes, wider handlebars, and the continued availability of quill stems, the “fixing power” of stems has become a hot topic in the quality control community. While it’s fun to pursue a cooler bike style, Japanese craftsmanship can only be achieved by considering safety.
The lineup includes angles of 75° and 90°, and clamp diameters of φ25.4 and φ26.0.
Updated Gettin’ Hungry stems are scheduled to launch before the end of 2025.
SimWorks by Panaracer “The Homage 26″x 2.13 TLC”

26″ tires are a very niche market, but a market we have strong roots in, and do well with. Demand is stable worldwide, especially in North America.
Although it has been certainly upstaged by more popular modern standards, The Homage is loved for restoring classic 26″ MTBs, along with our Super Yummy, and Volummy tires- both also available in this staple 26″ size.

The Homage 26″ has been updated to a 26″ x 2.13 profile and will be tubeless compatible. This is a new option for further modernizing your old MTB and allowing you to take advantage of newer rim features, and helping to eliminate puncture and pinch flats.
The Homage 26 x 2.13 TLC is also scheduled to launch before the end of 2025.
Doppo by SimWorks
Doppo High Plains Drifter

Doppo HPD (High Plains Drifer) launched in 2022. Minor changes to the most recent offering include the bike transitioning to “Boost” spacing, 3-pack mounts on the fork, and down tube, as well as convertible line guides on the down tube for cable management. Dropper port has been shifted to a more functional location on the seat tube. The rear end is now fixed in lieu of adjustable dropouts. The bike retains it’s provisions for rack and fender mounting. The frame’s geometry remains largely unchanged, as well as being available in 4 stock sizes (S,M,L,XL). The new color is “Prairie Sage”.

Distinctive details include a “truss-style” fork and double top tube.

The Doppo HPD is a hand-made model produced in small batch in Portland, Oregon. The bike is a modern take on the classic Klunker style.

Inspired by Clint Eastwood, the HPD is an off-road explorer with geometry optimized for dirt and trails.

Pre-orders for this frame set will begin soon. In Japan, only pre-orders will be accepted.
Please stay tuned for additional details.
Doppo Wanderer (Proto V2)

The Doppo Wanderer, whose prototype was unveiled two years ago, has now been upgraded to a production-ready state.

An all-road concept bike named Wanderer.

Max 700 x 40c (Without Fender) We have developed an all original lugless fork for SimWorks and most of the details have been decided.

Go further with your own two feet, following your instincts.

The Doppo Wanderer is currently undergoing development in Japan, with repeated test rides receiving rave reviews.
The official launch is planned for Spring/Summer 2026.
