The Doppo by Simworks Racer frameset, which began development as the second in line in the Doppo series, was originally created 3 years ago. Built with the same ethos as it’s sibling the ATB, this racer is “walking alone” to the beat of a different drum.

In response to the specific demands of competition cyclists, Doppo Racer is ready to be unveiled- the product of countless hours of input and feedback from our Simworks Racing Team.

The SimWorks Racing Team’s continued success in cyclocross series has been gaining attention, alongside the SimWorks brand, as they travel not only in the Tokai region, but throughout Japan

The successes achieved this year have blossomed and attracted new fans from not just at home in Japan, but from all over the world- including the Cyclocross homeland of Europe and specifically the 2020 Cyclocross World Championship 

The SimWorks racing team rarely has a day to rest while they train, even during wind, rain and snow- growing like sturdy plants with attention and care.

The passions and input of our riders has culminated in a variety of stories not only from the race circuits but also in the adventures of their training rides. The machines have weathered and evolved alongside their operators.

The frame utilizes 7075 series aluminum tubing from the trusted American maker NOVA, and the selection of thicker tubes that combine rigidity and strength with an American frame and the unique shape of the monostay attract attention. 

A carbon fork manufactured by Whiskey & Co., a house brand under Quality Bicycle Products, which has been gaining increased popularity in recent years, is included with matching paint. Both frame and fork utilize thru-axles.

A 160mm disc rotor is recommended to be used on both frame and fork. Rounding out the frameset package is an included Chris King InSet 7, available in the color of your choice.

Production was commissioned to Oscar Camarena, of Simple Bicycles and formerly of Chris King’s Cielo badge name. Each frame was carefully crafted with the finest welding techniques. Despite aluminum often being considered more difficult than welding chromoly, the attention to detail and the beautiful welding bead show through on these metallurgical marvels.
