Cycle Cloak is also called as Bicycle Valet, and it is a quite amazing hospitality for people who comes to the event on bike.

Usually, in these days, you can see cycle cloaks at any major bicycle events, but not fully 100% yet. When you go to the events just having a bike parking lot without any securities, you are going to be afraid that somebody will steal you bike or somehow something would happen to your bike while you leave it somewhere and could not compete the race.

When Cycle Cloak appeared in the public first on this planet, people felt secured mostly, but people also took it for granted. So, they didn’t spread out the words to the others so much and it didn’t become a huge trend at all. However, this secured bike parking system is quite needed for any events like you already feel right now. This could be the best invention and also a priority for all of the people who organize the events.

Now we adopted this great service into Nagoya Bicycle Association having started 5 years ago. People appreciate what we do at local farmers market, music festivals and any other good events around here.

This service has a strength as its mobility. We can go anywhere that people need such as, small events on a local shopping street, even to the big event like a cyclocross competition in snowing winter time.
We minimize our resources and materials we use and it improves our accessibility to the spot. Moreover, it helps the global environment since people can come to any events by bike, not with cars anymore.

Like I said, the rate of spread is not 100% yet, but this is one of the things that we can do and save the earth as we ride a bike.
