Our original Doppo frame made its red carpet debut at NAHBS in 2016.

The days between then have passed quickly but surely; leaving notions of norms related to our lives and even the humble bicycle in the rearview.

Since its initial release, the first Doppo ATB, which debuted as a modern classic all-terrain bike, also needs to change according to these shifts in the world. So we’ve updated it a bit.

Some people may say, “No matter how standards in the cycling industry change, it doesn’t matter to me”, but we all page forward. Ultimately if you’re producing frames, available parts and the specs they have wind up informing at least some of your plans and decisions. We’re sure that is the case. But it’s not all just a need to sell new parts.

In the 6 years since ATB’s release, this update incorporates some repeated requests and adjustments that we, the creators, are keen to incorporate.
A key update is that the front and rear ends are now compliant with the standard through axle specifications. Next, by reviewing the tubing specification, the updated ATB has metamorphosed into a svelter machine. Throughout the lineup, the Doppo series is designed to be your trusted companion when you venture out on your own.

There’s a lot of people seeking in the world; a lot of cyclists pedaling one stroke after another; a lot of dispositions and goals and approaches to getting where we’re trying to get. To free yourself of the concerns of your equipment is a luxury but a worthy undertaking. To sling a leg over and cast off, knowing your machine will relish and endure the roads beneath it with you piloting it focused solely on the ride is the purest complement to the machine and the maker.

Close your eyes and imagine all of the different roads in the world, from the pleasant sea side ribbon of asphalt, to the frigid roads where snow falls, forgotten forest service roads, BLM two-track, the roads that have been there longer than state, or country or even national boundaries. commuting roads, all here. They can’t all be written down.
