Booth#118 SimWorks at NAHBS 2016

NAHBS 2016

Now it is 2016 and it has been 6 years since we established SimWorks. Finally, we got ready to rock and roll with our originals for exhibiting at NAHBS and heading to Sacramento by driving on highway 80.

It was our first time to show our original items in the US in order to tell people that we are the SimWorks USA.
A variety of hand-made frame builders gathered at this historical starting point, California, of American bicycle culture. At NAHBS site, to begin with Retrotec Cycles we distribute in Japan, we spent amazing times with so many great frame builders competing with their skills each other in a passionated atmosphere.

We would like to introduce our 2 biggest new projects we have been working on so far.
First, our original frame called “doppo”.
This is a modern touring frame with a geometry for 700c and 650b by cooperative development with Shin custom cycles using a benefit of disc brake design.
3 sizes for Small, Medium and Large with a original fork made of TANGE brand. We are able to ship it in July, 2016. Moreover, we are going to go through a paint booth called Kyutai Paint by using a strong powder paint for Matte olive-green.

Next, this is also our first original tire collaborated with Panaracer called ’THE HOMAGE’. Some of the people noticed when they looked at this pattern on the tire, and yes, we refined ‘Mach SS’ Panaracer, used to be called ‘semi slick’ for 26 inches, for gravel ride and all kinds of terrains and finished as high performed tired by using the latest casing and compound.
We prepared 2 sizes, 700x43c(530g) and 650x43b(500g) and Kevlar Bead style.
We are able to release this product in early April with a color of Black and Black sides first of all and Black and Brown, Light green and Skin will be out after this one by one. What we do right now is trying to ‘homage’ a bicycle culture and history in our own way.
