Mikashima Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (MKS) has released new colors for the Sylvan Cargo Cage under the SYLVAN WORKS label.

Sylvan Cargo Cage by SYLVAN WORKS. The name “SYLVAN” is synonymous with MKS pedals, which have been manufactured since 1979, so you can feel their passion for this series.

These are beautiful products that make full use of their assets: the pressing, sheet metal, and polishing techniques that they have cultivated in pedal manufacturing.

Of course, it is made in Japan, in Tokorozawa, Saitama Prefecture.

This is true of all Nitto products, but the beauty of the polishing of Japanese products in particular is an industry standard, setting them apart from other foreign brands.

In addition to the standard colors of silver, black, and bronze, burgundy and dark olive have been introduced as new colors for 2025.

As you can see, you can color match it to the frame or other parts to add an accent color, adding a rich but subtle element of style to your bike.

One of the product’s notable features is the adjustable L-shaped plate at the bottom of the cage. This plate extends a sufficient amount to support solid objects, such as water bottles, from below, so there’s less concern with them slipping out of place.

Additionally, by removing the bottom plate, it becomes easier to tie down softer, larger items such as tents or sleeping bags.
