Continuing on “Road to NAHBS 2017” part 1.
We were at the half way point to our great journey in the U.S. and on the way back to Portland driving SimWorks Astro vehicle. It seemed the road straight forward will never end in that middle of wasteland. My mind departed from the earth and I was quietly looking at the scenery as if we, human being, finally achieved to colonize the other planet. There were nothing on the land but air and gravity, so that I started wondering how amazing the life we had. Whatever it was, we, as Japanese, were attracted to those who live on this huge continent and started playing with a bicycle and also their culture which had adventurous lifestyle so much. Now, we drove our car back to Portland as if we were part of their huge history on this planet. Here are the pictures we took the latter half of our great journey.

Once we got into Portland city, we started hearing rhythmical and popular music tune out of a radio. We thought that people had always pursued a quality of life and cultivated their own lifestyle by moving around like nomads and those who started living in the city now kept sending their sympathy and humor with their own messages through a radio and caught one’s heart who from wasteland like us. We didn’t know why we felt like that, but honestly we had several moments that impressed us again when we came back to Portland.

After many twists and turns, ummm, to tell you the truth, we are still on much trouble but we were finally able to have our own new base in this city. Our office is in the building of Chris King company. Not ‘My Neighbor Totoro’, it’s ‘My Neighbor Chris King’. (Actually, Chris King Sales department is right next to our office wall.) We plan to deal with demands in the U.S. country from here, but as you know and we know that we are going to have so many business troubles because we are not in Japan and we still try to figure out how to go over the walls ahead. At this moment, economy here in the U.S. is not that reliable, yet we very much appreciate the huge supports from people around us and we also believe that this foundation has been constructed throughout years with so much efforts between. We would like to say deeply thank you to Chris King himself and his co-workers in the company. We will never make good use of this amazing chance.

I wrote before that America is too far and too huge, but we are all on the same planet and able to go around with one passport with a stamp on it. We can get to a genuine steak meal anytime we want. Our new U.S. office makes us one step forward. We are all looking forward having a great relationship between you and me wherever you are and we are. The most important thing is a ‘QUALITY’. That’s what we are aiming for. We know that it will take some times and efforts but what we can do is only going forward without looking back. ‘Little by Little’ is the magic word to make our life much enjoyable, don’t you think?

One last word, we showed you pictures without talking much about this great journey like what happened here and there. We cannot calculate or determine how much value we are able to have on these diary and pictures but I hope what we have done so far motivates you to go one step forward for your life adventure.
