It was about an hour in the morning driving up to our destination with Onigiri (rice ball) in our hands. Before the rainy season came, we were able to enjoy our mellow ride on a trail which had beautiful sunshine filtering down through the trees. Guided by Mr.Inoue, WELLDONE. We, simworkers needed to head back to our office after noon to ship the orders to our precious customers. It means that a glass of beer must be much better than usual work day after riding in the morning and working in the afternoon.

Also, we were able to complete the photo shoot of our new handle bars.

We always wanted to make something like this handle bar which should be simple and chromoly riser bar and we took a look at the world roughly. We knew that things were getting better and better everyday and sometimes we felt that we didn’t have to push ourselves so hard on it to make a simple one. We imagined the coolest riser bar ever as light and durable as we could produce. A bar that would never be bent and broken even though a giant stepped on it, and moreover we thought that we should make the best out of its thinner look. We thought that this bar would fit any kind of on-off bicycles.
　

A bike that Mr.Tanaka, who loves modern and classic, rode Retrotec/CrossCountry 650b. CrossCountry bike which knows one has enough would fit perfectly on an outskirt country trail.

So many people asked us about it. “What is this bar?” “Do you still have any stocks? or do you plan to produce more?” “We really would like you to re-produce that bar again, please!”. We really wanted to answer all these requests immediately and make their wish come true, but we needed to give up the re-production because of so many reasons and that weird bending process was hard to maintain… However, we still had passion and tenacity of purpose to do something about it, so now we finally five birth to this amazing FUN 3 Bar.

We used to use aluminum to make this bar for a off-road bike and we were proud of making the strongest one. However, we ran out of aluminum tubings and didn’t want to use something heavier than it used to be, so that we had to create something lighter by using chromoly. We did so many strength tests having spent 5 years, now we finally have this on the production.

Bar center : 25.4mm / Rise : 25mm / Backsweep : 35° / Whole length : 680mm.
This new type FUN 3 BAR was created by NITTO’s strong will saying that nothing can be bent. Moreover, this new type of ATB bar should be fitting any type of bicycle.

This is Hunter/Swamper 29er owned by Mr.Kenmochi, a photographer of the that day.
This bike can be used for commuting and even riding on a trail as well. It’s like a partner that always being with you. Honestly, this can bring you anywhere you want.

Now, let me introduce some of the unique bicycles owned by absolute interesting people.

Cielo MTB 29er with a drop handle bar owned by Mr.Yanase. It seems like he likes to ride on trail as if he was on a rode bike. He is the product development leader of RAL, making bike packs and others for trail and touring. If you haven’t used RAL products yet, then you must.

Mr.Inoue from WELLDONE rides DeSalvo 29er.
His item is also developed through his experiment riding like these trails and outdoor situation.

“Are we riding in NorCal?” “NOPE, we are in OKAZAKI local”.

Mr.Yamagishi who takes part in Chris King distributing rides Cielo MTB 29er.
He gains some weight recently because of dealing with new color line ups from CK? Is that why?
Anyways, he is going to race at OMM very soon, so that he definitely needs to loose some weight though.

Amazing Rie who loves mustard color rides 27.5″ Hunter WoodRat.
She also loves Curry… whatever she loves, she knows what’s up how to ride on any califronia trails.

Mrs.Hitomi, who works everything professionally and loves a Randi Jo Fabrication skirt, rides Cielo CrossClassic Japan Limited.
Her tire was a little bit thinner than a standard size, but she was smart… She didn’t have to ride on any difficult trails and she also took her own pace and time and enjoyed the moment of sunshine through trees.

It looks like it is raining every where in Japan now, but after the rainy season is over, then here we are!!! A heaven on earth will appear very soon!!!
